You're not missing much. I upgraded to 1.03eu successfully monday evening, wondered at the little folder icons you get in that version and tried to play something.

Anything.

Try and stop it while the hourglass is running and it locks up, leave it of a couple of minutes and eventually it times out with an "Unable to open the file" message.

Try using the web form for a support query as it's late and I don't have time to sit on a phone this week. It seems to lose my report after making me go back two or three times because not required information in the registration they force you through is suddenly required when you have the temerity to make a report.

Tuesday run through the upgrade a couple more times as the system is still saying there's a new version available. Same thing. Resubmit the fault report which at least appears on the list afterwards. No acknowledgement though.

Wednesday, still no ack. After a number of goes at downgrading with a local FTP server (downloads fine, won't install) I find the German instructions on how to downgrade via CD, take a dozen goes to get the telnet server up. Ten minutes later I'm back with 1.01eu and I can play stuff.

You did spot the bit in the instructions where it says "Don't upgrade over wireless"? Though if that's so I can't think of a good reason for the box to even let you try if you haven't got a cable connected.
